Joseph Gregg Hall, 56, of Bellflower Missouri, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026.
Gregg was born on April 21st, 1970, in St. Charles, Missouri to Robert Frederick Hall and Ida Louise Hall (Torrens).
Gregg was united in marriage to Shelley Johnson on June 21st, 1996 in Warrenton where they later divorced in 2011.
Other survivors include: three sons: Austin Hall of Bellflower, Missouri, Harley Hall of Bellflower, Missouri, and Austin Baumgardner of Vandalia, Missouri; three daughters: Crystal Hall of St. Charles, China Hall of Butler, Missouri, and Samantha Ruby of Vandalia, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Joseph Hall, Jaxson Hall, Janaiah Hall, Jada Hall, Railynn Baumgardner, Raven Baumgardner, KayeLee Schambach, Collin Schambach, and Carter Schambach; two sisters: Loretta Eads of Bellflower, Missouri and Tina Hall of Bellflower, Missouri; two uncles: Harry Hall of Bellflower, Missouri, and Roger Torrens of Bellflower, Missouri. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Tony.
Gregg was employed as a truck driver for most of his life where he earned the C.B handle “Tugboat” until he retired. He retired, but didn't tire much because he never stopped working. Gregg was always out lending a helping hand wherever he needed. Most of the time you could find him hauling scrap with Joseph Weiser, knocking a few back with Brad Roach and the boys, spending time with his girlfriend Katy Sheets, or being someone’s shirtless supervisor. He always had a story to tell, a “slip-to-jab” to deliver, and a smile to share. You didn't have to share his blood; you didn't have to carry his last name. You didn't even have to know him very long. If he loved you; you were his. If you needed him, he came as fast as he could. That's just who he was; a big man with a heart even bigger, and an ornery streak that could be seen from the highway.
A celebration of life for Gregg will be announced later by immediate family.
