Jonathan Glen Jacobi, 28, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020, at his home.

Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City. Burial will follow in New Florence Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Jonathan was born on November 19, 1991 in Columbia, the son of Douglas A. Jacobi and Wanda A. Korman Jacobi.

He was a past member of the UCC Church in High Hill, where he was baptized and confirmed. He was later re-baptized at The Crossing in Hannibal.

Jonathan was a 2010 graduate of Hermann High School and was currently a full-time student at MACC. He had worked in the restaurant industry for many years, including at Cheddars.

Being outdoors was very enjoyable to him, especially going fishing. Jonathan was also very active with NA.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Shannan Dickie of the home; his mother, Wanda (Dave) Jacquin of Berger; two sisters, Sarah (Ryan) Brandenburg of Montgomery City and Elizabeth Jacobi of New Haven; niece and nephews, Zoe and Gavin Brandenburg, and Isaiah Jacobi; aunts and uncles, Gary Jacobi of New Florence, David (Laurie) Korman of Big Spring, Janie Gotcher of Montgomery City, and Anne Clifton of Hermann; and his first cousins, Lauren Jacobi of Montgomery City, Cody Gotcher of Montgomery City, Eric (Eleaseh) Korman of Big Spring, and Timothy Korman of Hermann.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Jacobi; grandparents, Ted and Shirley Jacobi, and Glen and Margaret Korman; uncle, Mark Jacobi; and his first cousin, Ben Jacobi.

Memorial donations may be made to the New Florence Cemetery. They may be sent in care of Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361.
