Jeffery Lee Hollander, 61, of Wellsville, Missouri, formerly of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on December 23, 2024, at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

Jeffery was born on June 27, 1963, in Clayton, Missouri, the son of Orville Hollander and Ida (McCarty) Hollander. On April 16 he married Rebecca "Becky" Horton in 1988. He worked as an electrician for 25 years for TeleWiring and was in the IBEW Local 1.

Following retirement, Jeffery and Becky left St. Charles and moved to Wellsville, Missouri, making their weekend getaway cabin their full-time home. Jeffery always loved his property overlooking a beautiful lake and surrounded by woods. It was the perfect place to indulge in all of his favorite outdoorsman hobbies like hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers and side-by-sides. His adventurous spirit led him and his wife on journeys to wonderful places.

Jeffrey was the life of the party, effortlessly turning every gathering into an unforgettable experience. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went, and his jokes and stories never failed to bring laughter to everyone around him. He was an amazing husband, always supportive and loving. To his grandchildren, he was the best grandpa ever—kind, patient, and full of stories that brought joy to every moment.

Jeffery is survived by his loving wife, Becky Hollander, of the home; his mother, Ida McCarty; his stepson, David (Julie) Horton of Hermann, Missouri; grandchildren: Mario, Angela (Andrew), Cory (Courtney), Nick, Kayla (Steven); great-grandchildren: Liliyn, Kale, Colten, Dominic, Liam, Aubrey, Steven, Truett; siblings: Pam (Terry) Seaman of O'Fallon, Missouri, Keith (Carol) Hollander of Alabama, Angie (Pat) Collins of O'Fallon, Missouri, Shane (Cindy) Hollander of St. Charles, Missouri; many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts, and many friends whom he loved as family.

A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moudy's Bar and Grill, 2151 W Terra Lane, O'Fallon, Missouri
