Jean Ellen Weeks, 74, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her home.

Jean Ellen Faucett Weeks was born January 5, 1944 in Ozark, MO, to Thomas Faucett and Ruth Garrison Faucett. Jean graduated from Ozark High School and then attended college in Springfield, MO, receiving her degree in music education. Jean taught music at Gasconade Co. R-I, North Callaway in the Williamsburg and Hatton areas; St. Lawrence, St. Monica, and Holy Infant Catholic Schools where she taught vocal and band in the St. Louis area; and then Montgomery Co. R-II teaching vocal music. Jean also worked many years at Abel's Convenience Store. She had married Ron Weeks on December 27, 1969 and to this union one son was born, Jason. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church in Montgomery City, MO; she enjoyed any kind of music, flowers, yardwork, reading, handiwork, vacationing and reading her Bible. Jean loved to be with her family and friends.

Jean is survived by her son, Jason Weeks and wife, Carole, of rural Montgomery City, MO; two grandchildren: Mason Weeks and Clayton Weeks, both of Montgomery City, MO; and one nephew, Jeffery Faucett. Also surviving is a special friend, Margo Nichols and her family; and many other friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Faucett.

Memorial services were held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Montgomery City, MO.
