Janice Elizabeth Weber, 80, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Janice was born on January 1, 1942, the daughter of Ivan Clark Zumwalt and Margaret Ruth (Sublette) Zumwalt. She was a Montgomery County R-II graduate. She married Paul Louis Knipp on June 25, 1961, and through this union came three daughters, Andrea, Debbie, and Paula. Paul preceded her in death on September 6, 1986. In Wellsville, Missouri, on November 9, 1987, she married William "Bill" Weber and through this union she gained three stepsons, Keith, Kurt, and Kent. Bill and Janice had 35 wonderful years together before her passing.

She was a member of High Point Community Chapel. Janice spent many years raising her children and taking care of their home. She loved being outside, walking in the woods on the farm, horseback riding, and tending to her beautiful flower gardens. She also collected antiques.

Mrs. Weber is survived by her husband, Bill Weber, of the home; 3 daughters: Andrea Knipp of Montgomery City, Missouri, Debbie (Wes) Zerr of Williamsburg, Missouri, Paula (Richard, Jr.) Molitor of Foristell, Missouri; 3 stepsons: Keith (Gayla) Weber, Kurt (Sarah) Weber, Kent (Tina) Weber, all of Auxvasse, Missouri; 4 grandsons: Paul (Whitney) Zerr of Williamsburg, Missouri, Clark Zerr of Williamsburg, Missouri, Ryan Weber of Auxvasse, Missouri, Matthew Weber of Auxvasse, Missouri; sisters: Patricia Cochran of Rhineland, Missouri, Sandy Hurley of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and brothers: Charles (Glinda) Zumwalt of Bend, Oregon, and Ivan (Mary) Zumwalt of Hermann, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Clark Zumwalt and Margaret Ruth (Sublette) Zumwalt, sisters, Donna Oden and Shirley Schlanker, and her husband, Paul Louis Knipp.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 8:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Missouri, with Pastor Raymond Mathews officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the time of service. Honorary casketbearers include Charles Zumwalt, Ivan Zumwalt, Paul Zerr, Clark Zerr, Ryan Weber, and Matthew Weber.
