Janet Susan Bailey, 62, of Wellsville, MO, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at SSM/Audrain Hospital in Mexico, MO.

Janet Susan Bailey was born May 14, 1955 in Edgar Springs, MO, to Robert and Erma Dempsey Durbin. She married Gary Bailey and to this union two children were born, Christina and Steven. Ms. Bailey was very adventurous and did many things, she was a police office, flew planes, was a manager of Happy's Bar and Grill, and enjoyed working with crafts. She loved spending time with her family and many friends.

Ms. Bailey is survived by her daughter, Christina Vogel and husband, Donald, of Wellsville, MO; son, Steven Bailey and wife, Kelli, of Wright City, MO; and grandchildren: James, Christopher, Rebecca, Alexandria, Zackery, Carter and Harper. Also surviving are three brothers: Steven Durbin of Rolla, MO; Bobbie Durbin of California, and David Durbin of St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ms. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Erma Dempsey Durbin.

Ms. Bailey was cremated and there will not be any services at this time.

Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO, was in charge of her arrangements.
