James Dunlap, 62, of New Florence, MO, died on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

James Oral Dunlap was born July 24, 1958 in St. Charles, MO, to Oral Dunlap and Marie Boone Dunlap.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and he married Marcia Bethel on July 3, 1980 in Montgomery City, MO.  They were married for over 40 wonderful years.  Mr. Dunlap enjoyed restoring antique cars and target shooting.  He loved spending time with all his family and friends.

Mr. Dunlap is survived by his wife, Marcia Bethel Dunlap of New Florence, MO; his daughter, Tiffany Heller and husband, Charles, of New Florence, MO; and his grandchildren:  Haley Duff, Kendra Duff and Carter Duff; and two step-grandchildren: Kaden Heller and Olivia Heller.  Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Ruth E. Wells and husband, John; Richard Dunlap and wife, Janis; Carol Swope and husband, Bob; Diana Dunlap; and Joyce White; brother-in-law, Otis Conley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mr. Dunlap was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Oral and Pearl Dunlap; Mother and step-father, Marie and Howard Fry; and sisters: Sandra Conley and Barbara McGee.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from Noon until 4:00 PM at the New Florence Community Center in New Florence, MO.
