Jackie Ray Knoepflein, 64, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the St. Joseph Hospital West at Lake St. Louis, MO.

Jackie Ray Knoepflein was born June 2, 1952, in Warrenton, MO, to Edward Barr "Ned" Knoepflein and Ella Mae Francois Knoepflein. Jack graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1970 and was a member of the United States Army National Guard serving from October 7, 1970 until June 22, 1976. Jack married Sharon "Sherry" Beabout on June 23, 1972 and have been married for over 44 wonderful years. Jack was self-employed and was a "Jack of All Trades". He was owner of K-Struct Construction Company and Knoepflein and Sons Storage; was a timber logger, did snow removal, and also drove a dump truck. Jack was a member of the Mineola Baptist Church; an active member of Kustom & Classics Car Club and the Montgomery County Fair Association and served on the Board. Jack loved fishing and was an avid Jack Daniels Collector for over 44 plus years. Jack loved spending time with his family and friends.

Jack is survived by his wife, Sharon "Sherry" Beabout Knoepflein of Montgomery City, MO; son, Travis Knoepflein and wife, Stephanie, of Montgomery City, MO; daughter-in-law, Nancy Knoepflein Epstein of St. Louis, MO; and grandchildren: Abigail, Hunter and Ella Knoepflein, all of Montgomery City, MO. Also surviving are his brothers, Glenn Knoepflein and wife, Gerry, of Montgomery City, MO; and Steve Knoepflein and wife, Lorrie, of Fairhope, Alabama; sister, Shirley Graue and husband, Jeff, of St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Barr "Ned" Knoepflein and Ella Mae Francois Knoepflein; and son, Shannon K. Knoepflein.

Memorial Services with Military Honors was held at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Reverend Jim Cline officiated. The family received friends on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.
