Harold Dean Clark, 77, of rural Montgomery City, Mo. died on Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home surrounded by family.

Harold Dean Clark was born July 15, 1941 in Montgomery County, Mo. to Clarence Aubrey Clark and Ada Hart Clark. He graduated from Montgomery County R-2 high School in 1959 and was a member of the Army National Guard from August 23, 1963 until August 22, 1969. He married Karen Keshner on July 8, 1967 at the Newman Center in Columbia, Mo. and has been married for over 51 wonderful years. Mr. Clark was a self-employed farmer and worked up until his health started to decline. He loved the outdoors and visiting with all his family and friends. Mr. Clark was a member of the Bellflower Presbyterian Church, was a Deacon and Session Member, Bellflower Volunteer Fire Department for 34 years and then served on the Fire Department Board, member of the Producers Grain Board, 50 year member of the Bellflower/Montgomery Masonic Lodge #256, served as a swine leader for the Bellflower Booster 4-H Club and a trustee/officer of the Bellflower Community Club.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Karen Keshner Clark of the home, two sons: Brian Keo Clark of rural Montgomery City, Mo. and Matthew Clarence Clark of Fulton, Mo. Two grandchildren: Alex Marie Clark and Stephanie Ann Crocker and her husband, Jeremy; two great-grandchildren: Peyton and Millie Crocker and his sisters: Evelyn Clark Little of Newhall, Ca; Mildred Clark Percy and husband, Bill of Bellflower, Mo; Marjorie Clark Lotton and husband, Gerald of Bellflower, Mo. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Sue Clark; his brother in law, Rube Little; his parents, Clarence and Ada Clark

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Bellflower Presbyterian Church in Bellflower, Mo. The Reverend Rich Helton officiated and interment with full Military Honors was at the Bellflower Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM with a Masonic Service at 7:00PM on Sunday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Mo. Casketbearers included Kevin and Keith Schmidt, Mont Gilbert, Donald Ray Davis, Randy Lotton, Steve Davis, Marvin Miller and Marvin Cobb. Honorary casketbearers included Dale Davis, Jerry Oden, Jim Clark, Chad Davis, Clyde Gilbert, Bill and Ronnie Percy, Joe Schroeder, and Gerald Lotton.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bellflower Presbyterian Church, the Bellflower Cemetery Association, or the Neonatal Intensive Care of the University of Mo. in Columbia, Mo. c/o Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, Mo. 63361.
