Geraldine "Gerry" Julia O'Keefe, 86, of Warsaw, MO, formerly of Montgomery City, MO, passed away peacefully at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO on Monday, August 6, 2018.

Gerry was born on February 15, 1932 in St. Louis, MO, to Robert A. Hipp and Edna M. Boehmer Hipp. Gerry married James Milton O'Keefe on November 5, 1955, in St. Louis and they were married for sixty years.

Gerry is survived by five sons: Donald and wife, Sheryl, of Kansas City; Tom of Montgomery City; Craig and wife, Renee, of Ashland; Scott and wife, Kathy, of Gladstone; and Tim and wife, Sarah, of Montgomery City.

Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren: Sarah, Erin, and Michael O'Keefe of Kansas City; Zach and Allison O'Keefe of Gladstone; Caleb and wife, Stacie, Rachel, and Ethan O'Keefe of Ashland; Emily and Elizabeth O'Keefe and Abbie, Case, and Emma Doyle all of Montgomery City. Other survivors include: a brother and sister in-law, Robert and Marilyn Hipp of St Louis; and niece, Jan Boncek and nephews:   Jim (Pam) Hipp and John (Chris) Hipp.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim; and a sister, Julie.

Gerry attended the Mineola Methodist Church before she moved to Warsaw; was a bank teller until she retired from Mercantile Bank in Montgomery City, MO; enjoyed the outdoors and loved being with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Memorial services were held at Noon on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Reverend Kenneth Cleeton officiated. The family received friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.
