George Lee Jones, 76, of Warrenton, MO, died at 2:09 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Warrenton Manor in Warrenton, MO.
George Lee Jones was born November 9, 1940 in Hannibal, MO, to Virgil Leonard Jones and Lucille Edith Treaster Jones. He worked in construction until he retired. Mr. Jones enjoyed visiting with his family and friends.
Mr. Jones is survived by his brothers and sisters: Mary, Virgil, Bernard, Bernie, Jimmy and Ruth Ann. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents: Virgil Leonard Jones and Lucille Edith Teaster Jones; two sisters: Virginia and Katheryn, and one brother, Richard.
Mr. Jones was cremated and there won't be any services.
Schlanker Funeral Home of Montgomery City, MO, was in charge of the arrangements.
