George Robert
Hall
Jun 19, 1962 — May 15, 2025
George Robert Hall, age 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Wellsville Health Care Center in Wellsville, Missouri.
George was born on June 19, 1962, in Marshall, Missouri, to Lester Rue Hall and Janet (Ferguson) Hall. He graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
George spent much of his career working as a night auditor at the Seven Gables Hotel in Clayton, Missouri. He worked tirelessly and enjoyed what he did.
On May 21, 1983, George married Faith Rosethea Douvia in Warrensburg, Missouri. They shared twelve years of marriage before her passing on July 12, 1995. George carried her memory with him throughout his life.
George found joy in life's simple pleasures—playing cards, singing in choir, and attending concerts. He had a love for travel and treasured vacations and road trips. Whether close to home or far away, he found joy in exploring new places. More than anything, George loved spending time with his family and friends, cherishing every moment shared together.
George is survived by his mother, Janet Hall; siblings: Charles (Carol) Hall of Warrensburg, Missouri, John Hall, Bill (Pat) Hall, Ginnie (Charlie) Mason, all of Mexico, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Matthew Hall and Michael Hall, both of Columbia, Missouri, Morgan (Lagen) Smith of Texas, Tony Hall of Mexico, Missouri, Cheyanne (Matt) Hall of Iowa; and great-niece and great-nephew, Camryn and Liam Deck of Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faith Rosethea Hall, his father, Lester Rue Hall, and grandparents: M.L. and Maud Hall and Charles and Lucy Ferguson.
