Frederick H. Lang, 93, of Williamsburg, passed away at home on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2023 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jonesburg with Pastor Gary Ellul officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the Church.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.

Frederick was born March 27, 1930 in St. Charles, The son of John and Augusta (Klatte) Lang. After serving in the Army during the Korean war, he married Bernice Hulda Marie Lang on May 28, 1955 in St. Charles.

Frederick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He had a passion for farming, anything outdoors, and was a jack of all trades. He was a member of the St. Charles County Pork Producers, and also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jonesburg. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Frederick's family members include his late wife Bernice; three children; the late Ruth Ann (Stephen) Diederich - of Hartsburg, Carol (David) Nissing - of Mendon, and Donald (Ellen) Lang - of Wentzville; nine grandchildren, Daisey Diederich - of Stet, Danielle (Justin) Skouby - of Hartsburg, Jennifer (Patrick) Wright - of Hardin, Amanda (Chris) Flagg - of Warrenton, Rebekah Nissing - of Wright City, Emil (Maddie) Nissing - of Wright City, Rachel Nissing - of Mendon, Anna Mae Lang - of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Addie Lynn ( Fiancé Brett Grapenthin) Lang - of New Melle, nine great-grandchildren; Jackson and Rylie Skouby, Josiah and Julia Wright, Chloe, Waylon, and William Flagg, and Nora and Evan Nissing; brothers the late Clarence Lang and the late August Lang, sister, Earline Baker, and Sister-in-law, Jenell Broeker along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
