Frances Kathryn Cooper Jones, 89, of Wellsville, MO, formerly of New Florence, MO, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Golden Living Center/Gamma Road in Wellsville, MO.

Frances Kathryn Jones was born to Joe and Mary Cooper in Jefferson City, MO, on January 6, 1927. On April 11, 1944 she married the love of her life, William "Bill" Jones. They were married for 53 years. She gave birth to seven children. She also raised two of her sister's children as they were her own. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Montgomery City, MO; and was a former Girl Scout leader in the 1960's. She also enjoyed making quilts, sewing, embroidering, canning and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Bill" Jones; daughter, Theresa Kelly, and her foster son, Michael Corcoran.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, three sons: Thomas Jones of Charlotte, NC; Roger Jones of Cleveland, TN; and Chris Jones of Jonesburg, MO. Four Daughters, Jennifer Lee and husband, Jack, of Wiggins, MS; Pamela Wallace of Colorado Springs, CO; Donna Busken and husband, Mark, of New Florence, MO; and Bonita Jones of Montgomery City, MO. She also has many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that love her very much.

Funeral services were held at NOON on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Dr. Jim Guffie officiated and interment was in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, north of Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included her grandsons: Jason Lee, Ronnie Saulnier, Greg Saulnier, James Lackas, Mike Corcoran and Chad Jones. Honorary casketbearers were Becki Lackas and Jill Lee.
