Florence Frank, 80, of Wellsville, MO, died on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville, MO.
Florence Loretta Frank was born August 1, 1936 in Wabasha, Minnesota, to Walter and Helen Koelmel. She worked as a housekeeper at a funeral home and a hospital until she married Carl Frank. Florence enjoyed horoscopes, going to Old Threshers, and yard sales. She loved being with her family and friends.
Florence is survived by her children: Vickie, Eugene and Juanita Frank, all of Montgomery City, MO; Patsy Wiser and husband, Victor, of rural Montgomery City, MO; Sharon Folta of Wellsville, MO; Bobby Frank of the state of New York; Rosalie Koelmel of Iowa; Troy Higginbotham of Montgomery City, MO; Kevin Frank of Middletown, MO; and Angela Cox of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Robyn Wiser, Robert Wiser, Ashley Goff, Amanda Goff, Curtis Folta; Natalie Frank; Shelby Frank; and Lloyd Brown III; great-grandchildren: Mercedes Goff, Logan Goff, Ray Lynn Goff, Katrina Folta, and Shay Lewis. Florence was one of ten children including Rosie, Marjorie, and Anna Mae. She also was survived by a sister-in-law, Elsie Frank Lott and husband, Al, of Benton City, MO; brother-in-law, Norman Joe Frank of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Reverend Jim Cline officiated and interment was in the Montgomery City Cemetery. Visitation was held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included Victor Wiser, Robyn Wiser, Robert Wiser, Ashley Goff, Mercedes Goff, Stan Carroz, Pat Gruber, and Roy Boone.
