Florence E. Rickhoff Baugh, 94, of New Florence, MO, formerly of Montgomery City, MO, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

Florence Esther Baugh was born March 14, 1923 in New Florence, MO, to Maury Rickhoff and Mary Josephine Gerdemann Rickhoff. She graduated from New Florence High School and married Joseph M. Baugh on June 8, 1940 in St. Charles, MO. Mr. Baugh preceded her in death on March 10, 2006. When they were first married they worked together for the first 14 years at their Dodge and Plymouth Agency in New Florence, MO. Mrs. Baugh also sold for the St. Louis Post Dispatch New Paper for over ten years. She retired from selling Federal Crop Insurance and running the office in Montgomery City for the entire region for a number of years. Mrs. Baugh was a member of the Montgomery City Christian Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She loved visiting with all her friends and family.

Mrs. Baugh is survived by two children: Carol Burmeister of Montgomery City, MO; and Joseph B. Baugh (John) of Victoria, TX; two grandchildren: Mitchel Burmeister and wife, Alison, of Pacific Palisades, CA; and Tracy Gritsenko and husband, Sergey, of St. Louis, MO; two great-grandchildren: Carter Gritsenko and Skyla Burmeister; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Baugh was preceded in death by her parents Maury and Mary Josephine Rickhoff; her husband, Joseph M. Baugh; and her brothers and sisters: Omar Rickhoff; Ruth Pendergrass and husband, Eldon; Harry Rickhoff and wife, Jewel; Mary Noble and husband, Dale; and Mildred Coleman and husband, George.

Funeral services were held at Noon on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Montgomery City Christian Church. Reverend Ed Hankinson officiated and interment was in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens, north of Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Montgomery City Christian Church. Casketbearers included Christopher Gibson, Jeff Gibson, Rick Gibson, Gary Chandle, Todd Chandle, and Rick Smith. Honorary casketbearers included Phil Ahern, James Badger, Glen Noble, Dennis Gibson, John Simpson, and Stan Smith.
