Eugene Richard "Rich" Milzark, 78, of Mineola, MO, died on Monday, January 13, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.

Eugene Richard Milzark was born on December 15, 1941 in St. Louis, MO, to John Patrick Milzark and Gladys Catherine Blumer Milzark. He married Janis Hoormann on February 6, 1976 in Florissant, MO, at the Sacred Heart Church and have been married for over 43 wonderful years. Mr. Milzark was a retired carpenter and a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 602. He was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jonesburg, MO; enjoyed horse racing; working with his hands (as he was a skilled craftsman); and collecting antiques such as glass candy containers and tin toys. He loved spending time with his family and many friends, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Milzark is survived by his wife, Janis Hoormann Milzark of Mineola, MO; three children: Johnny Goldsborough of St. Louis, MO; Richie Milzark of St. Louis, MO; and Makenzie Milzark and fiancée, Kameron Brooks of Lexington, KY; grandchildren: Kristin Goldsborough; Kara Goldsborough; Jordan "Bear" Milzark, and Kamella Brooks; one brother, John Milzark and wife, Paulette, of Hazelwood, MO; sister-in-law, Barb Milzark of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Milzark was preceded in death by his parents, John Patrick and Gladys Catherine Blumer Milzark; two sisters and one brother: Patricia Lay Wimmer; infant, Mary Milzark; and Roy Milzark.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jonesburg, MO. Msg. Gregory Higley will officiate and interment with full Military Honors will be in the St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 8:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jonesburg, MO. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at the church on Thursday. Casketbearers include Kameron Brooks, Jack Darlington, Jack Fry, Michael Milzark, Wade O'Heron and Loran Sebachar.
