Dorothy Marie "Dot" Broz, 94, of New Florence, MO, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the St. Andrews New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

Dorothy Marie Broz was born on December 10, 1924 in Hawk Point, MO, to Joseph and Catherine Tickwart Broz. She was of the Catholic Faith, loved animals and red tulips, working puzzle books, and doing embroidery work. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Ms. Broz is survived by two sisters, Robberta Maddux and husband, Don, of New Florence, MO; and Marlene Miller of Plano, TX; one brother, John Broz of Yellville, Arkansas; and by Sue and Dean Tate and their family. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ms. Broz was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Broz; sister, Juanita Beck; and brothers, Joe Broz, Frank Broz, and Leonard Horst; niece Shelly Broz, and great-nephew, Ben Oden.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. The Chaplain Jason Mirikitani officiated and interment was in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Hawk Point, MO. Visitation was held on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home.
