Donna Oden, 75, of Gamma, MO, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.

Donna Carol Oden was born July 21, 1945 in Mexico, MO, to Ivan Clark Zumwalt and Margaret Ruth Sublette Zumwalt. She graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1963 and she married Gerald Oden on September 11, 1965 in Montgomery City, MO, at the First Baptist Church. They have been married for over 54 wonderful years. Donna attended the High Hill Christian Church in High Hill, MO, and also the First Baptist Church in Montgomery City, MO. Donna was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She also had worked for Beacon Shoe Factory, True Value Hardware, First Missouri Bank and Abel's. Donna enjoyed canning and giving her husband, Jerry, trouble. Donna never met a stranger and always enjoyed visiting with all her family and many friends. She will be dearly missed.

Donna is survived by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Oden of Gamma, MO; three children: Todd Oden and wife, Carol, of Montgomery City, MO; Michele Oden and husband, Todd Potter, of Lenexa, Kansas, and Wesley Oden and fiancée, Alyssa of Gamma, MO and five grandchildren: Zachary Clithero and wife, Caitlyn; Travis Oden; Devon Oden; Brooke Oden; and Hadley Oden. Donna is also survived by her sisters and brothers: Patricia Cochran of Windsor, MO; Sandy Hurley of Vicksburg, Mississippi; Janice Weber and husband, Bill, of Rural Montgomery City, MO; Charles Zumwalt and wife, Glinda, of Bend, Oregon; and Ivan Zumwalt and wife, Mary of Hermann, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Clark and Margaret Ruth Sublette Zumwalt and sister, Shirley Schlanker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bellflower Community Building in Bellflower, MO, on August 22, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
