Donald Ray Worley, age 89, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Donald was born on November 16, 1936, in New Florence, Missouri, and lived a life defined by faith, service, hard work, and a genuine love for people. Fun-loving and outgoing, Don never knew a stranger and was often the life of the party. His warmth, laughter, and storytelling made everyone around him feel welcome.

A devoted member of the New Florence United Methodist Church, Don lived his faith through service. He was a proud United States Navy veteran and a Mason and Shriner for over 50 years, dedicating his life to helping children through Shriners Hospitals for Children. Don served as Past President of the Little Dixie Shrine Club and the Mid-MO Shrine Club, was an Aid Emeritus for the Moolah Temple in St. Louis and belonged to several other Shriner organizations.

Don's strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit carried him through a diverse career. He hauled clay as a truck driver, owned and operated an MFA gas station, a restaurant, and a liquor store. In 1980, he purchased a Pepsi Distribution Company, and in 1987, he worked in commercial real estate sales with Gundaker Commercial. In his later years, Don found joy in raising cattle and spending time on his beloved farm in Big Springs, Missouri, alongside his loving wife.

He loved fishing, hunting, waterskiing, and most of all, being with family. Don came from a large family of 14 brothers and sisters, a background that shaped his deep appreciation for connection and community.

Don is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Sue Worley; his son, Kevin Worley, and daughter-in-law, Kandy Worley; and his cherished grandson, Kent Worley.
