Dennis Rae McNeill, 73, lived most of his life in Wentzville, MO until recently when he moved to the Missouri Veterans Home, 10600 Lewis and Clark, St. Louis, MO. Dennis passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Charles, MO, on April 26, 2017 at 9:30 PM.

Dennis was born June 11, 1943 to Lena (Lotton) Quesenberry and the late Arthur McNeill in Bethesda Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He loved camping, fishing, and family gatherings. Dennis would always greet you with a smile.

Between the dates of June 1966 and May 1968 he served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Glacier Icebreaker on a mission between the Antarctic and New Zealand. After his discharge he attended Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology and worked as an air conditioning and refrigeration repairman.

Dennis is survived by his Mother, Lena Lotton Quesenberry; his former wife, Carol Vebert McNeill; a daughter, Shelly Ann and son, William David of Boston, MA; two aunts, Darlene Andrews of Clairton, PA and Donna Lotton of Imperial, MO; along with five cousins: William Lotton of Novinger, MO; Rita Lotton of Imperial, MO; Teresa Harvatin of Temple, TX; Gail Madden of Deleon, TX; and John Gage of Columbia, MO.

Memorial graveside services were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Bellflower Cemetery in Bellflower, MO. The Reverend Dawn Gerard officiated and full military honors were presented.
