Delbert Lee Hesterberg, Jr., 58, of New Florence, MO, died on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the Boone Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, MO.
Delbert Lee Hesterberg, Jr., was born on April 26, 1961, in Mexico, MO, to Delbert Lee Hesterberg, Sr. and Mary Linke Hesterberg. He graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1979. Delbert married Crystal Kramer on November 17, 2001 in Jonesburg, MO, and have had over 17 years of a wonderful marriage. Delbert was a hard worker driving a dump truck, running a loader, doing dozer work, and repairing things. He enjoyed gardening, taking walks, eating out, and playing with his dog, Max. Delbert loved to visit with his family and many friends, and will be deeply missed.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Crystal Kramer Hesterberg of New Florence, MO; his mother, Mary Linke Hesterberg and friend, Jerry Johnson; sisters and brother: Pamela J. Shane and husband, Mychael of New Florence, MO; Sheila See and husband, Roger of Montgomery City, MO; Deanna Davis of Auxvasse, MO; and Gerald Hesterberg of Tucson, Arizona. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. And of course, can't forget his dog, Max.
Delbert was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Lee Hesterberg, Sr., and his grandparents.
Memorial services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Pastor Steve Kohler officiated.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, c/o Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO.
