Darrel Robert Trendley, Jr. of Middletown, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 52.

Darrel was born on May 20, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Darrel Trendley, Sr. and Iona (Jones) Trendley. He was a Union Iron Worker, Local 396. He enjoyed going fishing, deer hunting, and especially mushroom hunting. He also liked to take his family camping at Mark Twain with his wife of 21 years, Sherry Ray. When he wasn't out enjoying nature, he was spending time at home with Sherry or playing his favorite Nascar video game. He was exceedingly proud of his sons, Darrel and Tim, and loved his family more than anything.

Mr. Trendley is survived by his wife, Sherry Ray of Middletown, Missouri; two children: Darrel (Mikayla) Trendley III of Warrenton, Missouri, Tim Burks of Wright City, Missouri; granddaughters, Ariel and Adeline Trendley; siblings: Bunny (Butch) Callaway of Wentzville, Missouri, Darrelene Callaway of Bellflower, Missouri, Jimmy (Jayne) Trendley of Wellsville, Missouri, Kathy Dailey of High Hill, Missouri; his great-niece, Bre Jaspering, his nephew, Jimmy Callaway, who was like a brother to him; and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Iona and Darrel Trendley, Sr., a brother, Kurtiss Jon Trendley, a sister, Sherry Trendley, and two nephews, Jon and Jimmy Trendley.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Missouri.

He will be cremated after services and inurned at Fairmont Cemetery in Middletown, Missouri, at a later date.
