Cynthia Ann Gibbs, 61, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at The University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Cynthia was born on August 5, 1962, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to Robert Gibbs and Nancy (Smith) Gibbs. She was the most loving, passive woman. This love really came into effect around her dogs and her nieces and nephews, they all held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed reading and singing country westerns, she had a beautiful singing voice and even entered into a competition in Las Vegas to showcase her talent.

Throughout her 61 years Cynthia worked a handful of different jobs ranging from working the switchboard for the Friday night football games at KMCR to being a cab driver, and she also held the title of model master at Verlinden, where she would cast and build models. Cynthia lived a life full of character, laughter, and love.

Ms. Gibbs is survived by her mother, Nancy Gibbs; two sisters, Susan Gosnay and Bekee Smith; one brother, Roger Gibbs; nieces and nephews: Amber Myer, Gregory Contis, Hayley Shelton with spouse, Lucas, and too many other loving nieces and nephews to list.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Gibbs, and one sister, Bonnie Carter.

Cynthia will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
