Charles Joseph "Joe" Stotler, 58, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his home.
Charles Joseph "Joe" Stotler was born on August 3, 1959, to Charles Chester Stotler and Melba Lorene White Stotler Burch. He was married to Ellen Kay Worthington who preceded him in death. Mr. Stotler worked at various places including owning/operating a farm, working for Clifford Maupin, Producers Grain, City of Montgomery, and Binkley's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snagging and boating. He loved spending times with his family and friends.
Mr. Stotler is survived by his son, Kenneth "J.J." Stotler of Montgomery City, MO;his mother, Melba Burch and husband, Carl, of Montgomery City, MO; brothers and sister: John C. "Chuck" Stotler of Montgomery City, MO; Kathryn "Kate" Burger and husband, Keith, of Warrenton, MO; Dorsey Stotler and wife, Susan, of Montgomery City, MO; Dave Burch and wife, Jill, of Mineola, MO; and Gene Burch and wife, Dottie, of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Stotler was preceded in death by his father, Charles Chester Stotler; his wife, Ellen Kay Stotler; and grandparents.
Memorial services were held at 4:00PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Mr. Gene Burch officiated. The family received friends on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the Schlanker Funeral Home. Honorary casketbearers included Marshaell Stotler, Nicholas Stotler, Brandi McClary, Amanda Nickerson, Kimberly Melo, Emily Stotler, Jessica Bryson, Jennifer List, Holly Stotler, Braylon Stotler, Braxton Stotler, Bryana Stotler, Stahr Stotler, Moriah McClary, Mackenzie Herring, Maebrie Herring, Jesse Brackney, Cameron Vetter, Matthew Vetter, Aaron Nickerson, Cataleya Melo, Kaitlyn List, and Evan Bryson.
