Carolyn Snethen, 77, was born on June 24, 1945 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Earl and Mabel (Monroe) Johnson and passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in St. Charles, Missouri.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years Thomas Snethen; her children; Tommy (Rana) Snethen, Cindy Burris, Tim Snethen, and Cathy (Sakis) Salas, and six grandchildren; Dylan, Royce, Brittany, Shelby, Nicholas, and Grace, along with numerous extended friends and family.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She devoted her life to caring for those around her and was heavily involved in her church. She spent time teaching Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and was the WMU director at Dardenne Baptist Church. Carolyn found joy in the little things in life, and spending time with her family. She was the "Classroom Mom" and spent many years volunteering in her kids' classrooms and the library at the Wentzville schools. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM followed by service at 12:00 PM at Dardenne Baptist Church, 2345 Oak Dr, O'Fallon, MO 63368. Interment at 4:30 PM at Mount Horeb Cemetery (located in Montgomery County at junction of Mount Horeb Church Road and Prairie Fork Road southeast of Williamsburg, Missouri).
