Carolyn Sue Baker Hackett, 72, of Mineola, MO, died on December 2, 2017, at her home.

Carolyn was born January 31, 1945 in Muncie, Indiana to Robert Paul Baker and Mary Baker. For many years she worked in sales and her last job was at JC Penney. Carolyn enjoyed visiting with her many friends, working crossword puzzles, and loved visiting with her family.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Bryan Paul Hackett and his wife, Leslie, of Alvin, TX; three granddaughters, Lindsay Caglayon and husband, Eddie, of Denver, CO; Sara and Amanda Hackett of Humble, TX; and two grandsons: Zach McKean of Seattle, WA; and Darren Holder of Jefferson City, MO. Also surviving is a special friend, Rick Turner of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous friends. Carolyn also loved her dog, Maggie, and her horse, Two Socks.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul and Mary Baker; and a sister, Lori Baker.

Carolyn was cremated and there will not be any services at this time.

Schlanker Funeral Home of Montgomery City, MO, was in charge of her arrangements.
