Bobby Bradley, 85, of Williamsburg, MO, died on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.
Bobby Ray Bradley was born in Pollard, Arkansas on October 22, 1932 to Loyd Bradley and Gladys Smith Bradley. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving from February 6, 1953 until February 4, 1955. Mr. Bradley married Rose Janette King on September 27, 1958 in St. Louis County, Missouri, and they were married for over 59 wonderful years. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union and worked for over 42 years at a Can Factory. Mr. Bradley was a member of the Mineola Baptist Church and was the hardest working man ever. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a great Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and his friends.
Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Janette King Bradley of rural Williamsburg, MO; two children: Sandra Janette Scott and husband, Mark, of St. Charles, MO; and Randall Ray Bradley and wife, Annette, of St. Peters, MO; four grandchildren: Sarah Golden of St. Charles, MO; Jonathan Scott and wife, Betty, of St. Louis, MO; Bethany Miller and husband, Matt, of O'Fallon, MO; and Kyle Bradley of O'Fallon, MO; four great-grandchildren: Andrew Golden, Samuel Golden, Carson Miller and Mason Miller; and a half-brother, Hermie Miller of Centralia, IL. Also surviving are numerous friends.
Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd Bradley and Gladys Smith Bradley Benhoff; a brother, Jewel Bradley; and a nephew, George Bradley.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Mineola Baptist Church in Mineola, MO. The Reverend Jim Cline officiated and interment with full military honors was in the Williamsburg Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO. Casketbearers included John Scott, Kyle Bradley, Matt Miller, Lee Nichols, Andrew Golden, and Jason Cline.
