Betty Jean Howe Ronchetto, 91, of Gamma, MO, died on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Golden Living Center/Gamma Road in Wellsville, MO.
Betty Jean Howe Ronchetto was born in Macon, MO, on April 26, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Roy Samuel Howe and Blanche Marie Strange Howe. She was raised in the Catholic Church and graduated from Macon High School in Macon, MO. She was married to John J. Ronchetto on August 8, 1948, in the state of Arkansas, and were married for over 67 years until he preceded her in death on July 29, 2015. They lived much of their married lives in St. Louis, MO. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting. Mr. and Mrs. Ronchetto purchased a piece of property near Gamma in 1972 and later moved there following John's retirement in 1980.
Mrs. Ronchetto is survived by several nieces and nephews; and a god-child, Jacqueline Goin of Wentzville, MO.
Mrs. Ronchetto was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Ronchetto; several brothers, Bobby Howe, Dale Howe, J.T. Howe; and two sisters, Patricia Jane Howe Main and Maxine Mae Gipson.
Graveside services were held at Noon, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Bevier, MO. The Reverend Augustine Okoli officiated.
