Bernice Hulda Marie Lang, 84, of Williamsburg, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, at her home, 54 years to the day her mother passed away.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jonesburg with Pastor Gary Ellul officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the church.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.

Bernice was born June 27, 1933 in St. Charles, the daughter of Julius H. and Julia (Grote) Bollmann. On May 28, 1955 in St. Charles, she married Frederick H. Lang and he survives.

Mrs. Lang had worked for Pundmann Ford and ACF Industries until becoming a full-time housemaker. She quilted for Quilts For Valor and with the Williamsburg Ladies Club. Bernice had been a 4-H leader for over 20 years, member of the St. Charles County Pork Producers, and the St. Charles County Extension Council. She was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Bernice's family members include her husband, Frederick Lang of the home; three children, Ruth Ann Diederich (deceased) and husband, Stephen, of Hartsburg, Carol Nissing and husband, David, of Keytesville, and Donald Lang and wife, Ellen of New Melle; nine grandchildren, Daisey Diederich of Stet, Danielle Skouby and husband, Justin, of Hartsburg, Jennifer Wright and husband, Patrick, of Hardin, Amanda Flagg and husband, Chris, of Warrenton, Rebekah Nissing of Keytesville, Emil Nissing and wife, Maddie, of Wright City, Rachel Nissing of Keytesville, Anna Mae Lang and Addie Lynn Lang, both of New Melle; five great-grandchildren, Jackson and Rylie Skouby, Josiah and Julia Wright, and a great-granddaughter due in April, Chloe June; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, or to the donor's choice. All may be sent in care of Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361.
