Barbara Swearingen Bethel

Barbara L. Swearingen Bethel, 79, of New Florence, MO, passed away at her home in New Florence, MO, with her family by her side. She was born March 30, 1940 and left us on November 20, 2019.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Cora Swearingen; and her brother, Charlie Swearingen.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe Bethel; Daughters: Debbie Rosemann, Marcia Dunlap and her husband, Jim; and Peggy Jaggie; step-children: Anita, Hoyte, Rex, Mike, and Gary Bethel; sister-in-law, Shirley Swearingen; and grandchildren: Tiffany and Charles Heller; Shawna, Nina, and Josh Oliver; and Jessica Guerrero.

Barbara had many struggles in her life, but she would smile through it all. She was very strong willed and will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life was held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the Jonesburg United Methodist Church in Jonesburg, MO.
