Barbara Odem Gloe, 60, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her home.

Barbara Jean Gloe was born September 26, 1957 in Mexico, MO, to Marvin and Viola Odem. She graduated from Wellsville-Middletown R-1 in 1976 and later married Norbert Gloe. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Barbara was a member of the Christian Church in Montgomery City and also the secretary of the church. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting with her family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Norbert Gloe of Montgomery City, MO; two sons: Justin Gloe of Troy, MO and Michael Gloe of Montgomery City, MO; and three grandchildren: Dalton Gloe, Caitlyn Gloe and Kamryn Gloe. Also surviving is her sister, Marla Daniels of Montgomery City, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Stan Daniels.

A memorial service was held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Montgomery City Christian Church. Mr. Stan Carroz  officiated. Visitation was held on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at church.
