Barbara Ann Duvall, 70, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
Barbara was born on August 21, 1953, in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn Bettorf and Joyce (Knecht) Bettorf. She married Charles Duvall in Fryatt, Arkansas, on June 4, 1970. They spent 56 loving years together before her passing.
She spent many years working in customer service in the corrugated industry, but has been enjoying retirement for several years. She enjoyed her flower and vegetable garden and she loved cooking meals for her family. She was a great cook and baker, always providing baked treats for family and neighbors. She was very crafty and could sew and crochet. She often made gifts of afghans and crocheted items for family or for the church. She also enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, that was a big part of her life for a long time. She loved to travel, go fishing and go to Willie Nelson concerts. Barbara loved to help the American farmer, she volunteered many times at Farm Aid.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Duvall, of the home; two children: Shane (Robin) Duvall of Warsaw, Missouri, Wendy (Robert) Jacobs of Foristell, Missouri; two grandchildren: Trent Charles Tanner and Reese Ann Jacobs; and her mother, Joyce Bettorf.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Bettorf.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Montgomery City, Missouri, at 2:30 PM, with Reverend John Brumagin officiating.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church from 1:30 PM until the time of the service.
