Annie Lou Jones Williams, 90, of Wellsville, MO, died at 11:07 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.

Annie Lou Jones Williams was born on April 9, 1932 in Montgomery County, MO, to James Willard Jones and Bessie Irene Hudson Jones.  She married Gene W. Williams in 1950 in Salem, Arkansas.  They would have been married 54 years the year Mr. Williams preceded her in death in 2004.  Annie enjoyed quilting, sewing, working with her flowers, Christmas and was very devoted to her family.  She loved being with all her family and friends, especially all her grandbabies.

Mrs. Williams is survived by six daughters:  Jeanie Higgenbotham and husband, Orville; Vicki Cash; Pam Marshall and husband, Jerry; Cindy Welschmeyer; Wendy Uthe and husband, Jim; and Robin Maylee and husband, Jim, all of Wellsville, MO.  Also surviving are her grandchildren: Dean Sublette, Melissa Canterbury, Kirsten Huff, Christopher Ball, Jennifer Ball, Joey Cash, Talitha Epperson, Jeremiah Cash, Tonya Marshall, Shaun Marshall, Shannon Marshall, Brandon Marshall, Eric Welschmeyer, Ryan Welschmeyer, Dalton Welschmeyer, Jonas Uthe, Chelsey Scott, Jesse Maylee, Malayna Carlisle, Adam Maylee, and Bryton Maylee; two step-grandchildren: Christy Higgenbotham and Billy Higgenbotham; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, James Willard Jones and Bessie Irene Hudson Jones; husband, Gene W. Williams; one great-granddaughter, Angie Conder; two son-in-laws, Donald Sublette and Ricky Cash; sisters and brothers: Hazel (Edward) Prior, Cecil (Felix) Korman, Edith "Chick" (Howard) Lame, Sarah (Ralph) Huenefeld, Robert (Virginia) Jones, Richard "Nimmie" Jones, James "Snook" Jones, Cathryn (Donald) Simmons, and John (Mabel) Jones; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jesse Monroe and Martha Sisco Williams; one sister-in-law, Edith Jo (Byron) Gouldsmith and five brothers-in-laws, Herschel, Don, Lawrence, Larry, and Russell Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.  Pastor George Prior will officiate.  Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery, West of Montgomery City, MO.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, MO.  Casketbearers include Dean Sublette, Joey Cash, Shaun Marshall, Eric Welschmeyer, Jonas Uthe and Jesse Maylee.  Honorary casketbearers include Christopher Ball, Jeremiah Cash, Shannon Marshall, Brandon Marshall, Ryan Welschmeyer, Adam Maylee, Bryton Maylee and Chelsey Scott.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Bethel Cemetery, c/o Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO   63361.
