Annabelle McChristy, 96, of New Florence, MO, died on Friday, December 15, 2017, at the New Florence Care Center in New Florence, MO.

Annabelle McChristy was born September 17, 1921 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Robert and Mae Busch. After graduation she attended one year of college and became a beautician. On February 14, 1946 she married Garmond McChristy and he preceded her in death. Mrs. McChristy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Mineola Baptist Church; a member of the Women's Missionary Union; and she enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers.

Mrs. McChristy is survived by two children: Patricia McChristy of Montgomery City, MO; and Richard McChristy and wife, Diane, of Crestview, FL; two grandchildren: Patrick McChristy and wife, Ann, of Jonesburg, MO; and Jennifer Carson and husband, Jonathan, of Naples, FL; nine great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Kathryn, Racheal, Daniel, and Claire McChristy; and Isabela, Natalie, Daria, and Margot Carson; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Mrs. McChristy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mae Busch; husband, Garmond McChristy; two brothers: Henry and Bob Busch; and sister-in-law, Gerry Busch.

Memorial services were held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the Mineola Baptist Church in Mineola, MO. Visitation was held on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the Mineola Baptist Church. The Reverend Jim Cline officiated.
