Anna Marie Boes Cobb, 89, of rural Montgomery City, MO, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at her home surrounded by family.

Anna Marie (nee Boes) was born June 30, 1928 in Freeburg, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Cobb of Montgomery City. Mr. and Mrs. Cobb were married for 68 years. They celebrated their 50 th wedding anniversary with a trip to Alaska.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Timothea (nee Mengwasser) Boes; one son, Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Cobb; and four brothers: Theodore, Alvin, Fritz and Alois Boes; and one granddaughter, Mya Elizabeth Kertz.

She is survived by sister-in-law, Jeanne (late Alvin) Boes, sister-in-law, Becky (late Alois) Boes, sister-in-law Genny (late Fritz) Boes; sister, Catherine Boes; brother, Tony (Linda) Boes; sister, Sr. Mary Ann Boes, CSJ; sister, Rita (Bob) Sexton; brother, George (Punkey) Boes; sister, Dorothy (Larry) Bowman; and sister-in-law, Doris (Joe) Wieberg; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is survived by 16 children: Jean Kertz; Joe Cobb and friend, Gloria; Charley (Deanna) Cobb; Holly Cobb; Joanne (Bob) McManimie; Cheryl (Gary) Gruber; Russ (Lisa) Cobb; Theresa (Luke) Black; Marlene (Scott) Beshears; Loretta (Ernie) Benson; Marvin (Mary Kate) Cobb; Carol (Todd) Oden; Glen Cobb; Alice (Scott) Ficinus; Steve (Beth) Cobb; Eddie (Donna) Cobb; and Kenny Cobb.

Grandchildren include Laurie (Patrick) Kelly; Bernie (Alicia) and Alan (Frida) Kertz; Jody and Tony (Lauren) Cobb; Kaley (Brett) Wilkerson; Aala (Jacob) Hamilton; John and Michael Cobb; Monica and Jessica Gruber; Sarah Beth Cobb; Bremol, Jeremy and Dylan Cobb; Ritchie (Gayla) See and Taylor See; Jordon (Amanda) Beshears and Trenton Beshears; Trevor and Calli Benson; Travis, Devon and Brooke Oden; Summer and John Ficinus; Heather Holmes; Alex, Tanner and Wesley Cobb; and Allison and Jason Cobb.

Great-grandchildren include Ella and Clayton Kertz; Freya Kertz; Demie and Dillan Cobb; Madylene and Garrett Cobb; Ian, Bria, and Dalton Hamilton; Treyton Lewis; Mahlya Cameron; Weston, Brennan, Adler and Brielle See; Jayce, Isabella and Addison Holmes, and Adelyn and Heidi Beshears.

Mrs. Cobb graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School and attended Sacred Heart High School in Rich Fountain, MO. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Montgomery City, MO, member of the IC Quilting Group and the Knights of Columbus Ladies' Auxiliary.

A Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Montgomery City, MO. Father Joe Abahi and Father Christopher Cordes officiated and interment was in the St. Mary's Cemetery near Montgomery City, MO. Visitation was held on Saturday from 8:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Casketbearers will included grandsons: Jody Cobb, Tony Cobb, Ritchie See, Trenton Beshears, Jordon Beshears, Trevor Benson, Travis Oden, Alex Cobb and Jason Cobb.  Honorary casketbearers included grandsons: Bernie Kertz, Alan Kertz, John Cobb, Michael Cobb, Jeremy Cobb, Dylan Cobb, Devon Oden John Ficinus, and Tanner Cobb.
